Dividing Chores With Roommates

Living in apartments in the Las Vegas area, roommates are part of the norm and part of the package of living in the city. If you’re not living with roommates, you’re deciding whether or not you need a roommate. Very few people in the Las Vegas area want to live with a roommate or want to deal with the challenges that room mates come with, but it’s always nice to have some extra money to be able to do the things you want to do, or at least be able to save up for a place of your own. Not only that, a roommate is training for living with a spouse or a family. Most people never realize that the same problems they are encountering with room mates they will encounter when they eventually have children. There are many problems that are associated with roommates: lack of paying the bills on time, eating your food or eating all of the food, and the issue of privacy and noise. One of the bigger problems that most roommates go through has been an issue with people living together forever; who does which of the chores around the house?

  1. My cousin has an apartment in Cincinnati that he really likes. The owners do their best to have lower water and utility costs, he's got access to a pool, and he's great friends with his roommates.
